A published author and in-demand public speaker, her latest book is Pursuit of Passionate Purpose: Success Strategies for a Rewarding Personal and Business Life. As an awarded professional, she was selected Woman of the Year by the Business and Professional Women’s (BPW) Federation, Woman of Achievement by the YWCA, and Denver Business Journal’s 1999 Real Women, Real Business winner in Innovation.

Proven entrepreneur helping others thrive.

In 1990 she co-founded Radish Communications Systems, a technology company that developed products designed to increase the efficiency and value of telephone computer transactions. Under her guidance, Radish introduced VoiceView®, the new standard to exchange voice and data over a single, normal telephone line. Radish was sold in December 1996 for over $40 Million to SystemSoft Corporation. She is listed in the Denver Business Journal’s Who’s Who in Technology and Telecommunications. For her work to help entrepreneurs, she received the Boulder Technology Incubator’s Model of Excellence and Board Member Service Awards. She also serves on a number of corporate, government, and non-profit organization boards including the Colorado Technology Incubator’s Advisory Board. She received the Quiet Hero Award in 2001 from Boulder Rotary Club for “Service Above Self.” Solid technical and international foundation. She began her career with 8 years at Bell Telephone Laboratories and AT&T International, first designing business information systems and then managing the delivery of these systems into world markets.

She strives relentlessly for the advancement of women. For her efforts to help women be competitive in worldwide trade and to raise international educational funds, she received the Spirit Award of BPW/Colorado and the National Issues Management Award of BPW/USA. Receiving the BPW Visionary Award for her work, she raised a $300,000 endowment for the Colorado BPW Foundation to help women attain economic self-sufficiency through education. She advises many entrepreneurs and seeks to get more women on powerful boards.

Experience and education.

She has worked with hundreds of large multinational corporations, small businesses, government agencies, entrepreneurial ventures, and individuals. She holds a BS in Mathematics and Finance from Western Illinois University, an MS in Operations Research from Stanford University, and an MBA and PhD in Business Administration (with a focus in Marketing and Organizational Development) from the University of Colorado.
